We must start from the premise of maintaining a balance, both affective and cognitive, of the child who is about to enter the preparatory class. Sometimes, however, this can seem utopian, given the frequent changes taking place in many areas, including education. For this reason, the teacher has a moral obligation towards the child to ensure the balance that is so necessary at the early school age (preparatory class). It should also be borne in mind that these children today are more intellectually advanced, due to the technologization of the social environment, so that the educational environment must be prepared accordingly. We have observed frequent refusals by parents to enroll their child in the preparatory class for various reasons. In most cases, both parents work, not being able to pick up the child from school at 12 or 13. Schools have come to the aid of parents with afterschool, but for some parents it is too much of a financial effort. Although this may seem a pragmatic observation, when we decide to have a child, it is imperative to realize, as parents, that we are assuming important responsibilities, both emotional and financial, towards the child. We can add and confirm the obvious emotional and intellectual readiness of 6-year-olds for integration into the preparatory class. The teachers' professional experience confirms that they are much more motivated and even excited about their new status as schoolchildren.<\/p>\n
It is the ideal age for assimilating new knowledge, as they have the ability to 'suck in' any new information. In other words, it is necessary to say: \"You can only prepare for school at school\". In this respect, it would be ideal for parents to develop their children's self-confidence, self-confidence in their own strength and the ability to manage and deal with various situations. The transition from kindergarten to school is made easier in this framework, making it easier for them to adapt to the school curriculum they will follow in the coming years.<\/p>\n
