The KINDERLAND School and Kindergarten is a German institution, which means that the entire program is taught exclusively in the German mother tongue in the German section. Learning this language is the main focus of the unit. We are in our 22nd year of private operation in the national education system. At the beginning, in 2002, based on the authorization of the I.S.J. CLUJ and the Ministry of Education and Research, following its curriculum and that of the Pedagogical College of Sibiu for German, as well as our own, in which we took the best we found in the 5 partner countries. We were inspired by the programs applied in the German, Swiss, Austrian, Hungarian and English education systems. We then received accreditation for these languages in 2008.

Program complies with MECTS regulationsThe didactic content follows the "Pyramid" educational concept of the CITO Pedagogical Institute - Germany and the University of Berlin, with which we have a permanent contract of practice and exchange of experience.

The teachers are native German speakers (UBB Cluj - Faculty of Letters) and qualified teacher-educators, teaching will be exclusively in German in the German section, and one of the chosen languages will be taught in the Romanian and Hungarian mother tongue (intensive). We will not focus on volume, but on differentiated, individual teaching. The small group and class sizes (10-12 children maximum) allow us to take care of each child individually, to follow their progress and to communicate it regularly to their parents. We want to discover and cultivate those aptitudes and inclinations that make each child a UNIQUE CHILD. The parents of our children benefit from a unique system of daily and regular assessment, monitoring and communication of their child's development at the kindergarten. KINDERLAND not only offers children fun and information, but also a system for monitoring individual development. All the games and educational activities we use are designed to develop the child's native abilities.

We started the work of discovering the German language through play at the German state kindergarten No. 17 more than 29 years ago, before 1989. Over time, it turned out to be the best investment our parents ever made. It is a hard but beautiful language, the knowledge of which trains your mind, molds your character and puts a trade "on a platter" in itself. Our children will learn it here at KINDERLAND, where we would like to have you as colleagues. Our belief is that every child comes gifted with a special gift, the meaning of their life is to discover and fulfill that gift. To that end, we promote gifted education - a unique system of education in our unit through individualized packages for each child.

We carry out our activity in an indoor space of 500 square meters and a courtyard of 500 square meters with lawn, trees, 2 inflatable swimming pools in summer and many accessories only good for playing, especially in the playground offered by the City Hall and the Cluj-Napoca City Council at the mushroom in Gheorgheni.

In addition to the educational process, children also enjoy optional activities designed to develop their creative sense, talents and personality, such as: fine arts lessons (Piccolingo - Special Europe Award), ballroom dancing (3 gold cups and dozens of diplomas and medals - teacher Florin Bârsan), vocal and instrumental music, interactive theater, social-emotional development group, Zumba (teacher Melita Mintescu, national champion at Salsa SoloShines Competition; the first and the most renowned instructor in Cluj, graduate of Zumba Academy with international diploma since 2010), sculpture in clay and porcelain using the Japanese technique (Traian Andras - designer specialized in ceramics - Raku technique, unique teacher in Cluj), karate, chess, medical and artistic gymnastics, piano. In the first 3 optional we have outstanding results, prizes in the city, Ardeal, in the country or abroad. country or abroad). Extra-curricular activities: competitions (1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes at "Clujul Pedalează"), visits to the botanical garden, museums, shows with magician and puppet theater (in kindergarten or outside), play in our yard or in the park of the "Mushroom" etc.

At our school and kindergarten, the little ones also benefit from regular consultations with doctors from the Pediatric and Home Care Center and a dentist. We work twice a week with a teacher-logoped, we have a nurse and a nurse.

Between June 15 and August 31 we have a special summer holiday program. The unit also operates during the summer season. Our children continue their afterschool activities with former teacher-educators.

We offer opportunities to go to the mountains and the sea, as well as holiday program in the respective language: short, extended and long program, on request and on Saturdays, including daily optional courses: dance, Zumba, gymnastics, ballet, basketball, handball, creative workshop, puppet theater, drawing, painting, outdoor outings, excursions, visits and much more.

OBJECTIVE:

- Preparing your child for school at a high level

The KINDERLAND alternative education system promotes equal opportunities for children,
out of a desire to add value to pre-school education.
Each child working in their own style and at their own pace, through work on centers of interest,
forces the teacher to focus on the personal development of the individual,
to get the child to communicate, to know and know himself, to optimize his
relationships with oneself and those around. Thus, relations between teachers and children, on the one hand, and
and between the children in the group or the whole kindergarten, on the other hand, it is democratizing,
the system becoming a springboard to a world of communication and adaptation to the challenges of the 21st century.

When you enter a classroom at KINDERLAND, you feel as if you have entered a young, cheerful and serene forest,
where each child takes responsibility for his own actions and his own learning and comes away with a sense of hope
that the work and trust invested in these children is not in vain.

We do not claim that this system is "the best", but it is a welcome alternative at this point in the 21st century,
when new and new professions are "born" and emerging, where individual personality and creativity must be promoted.

KINDERLAND Nursery and Pre-school School aims to achieve the following objectives during the course of an education cycle (4 years)
performance at both individual and group level, as socialization, communication and team spirit are just a few
of our wishes.

For all who contribute to the education in this kindergarten, the following principle is sacred: "A child is a fire to be kindled, not a pot to be constantly poured into."
The kindergarten encourages reading and writing through special programs in each group. The large group has a special program in German, Romanian and English.
By kindergarten graduation, children know how to write the graphic signs that help to write letters, even letters. Some can read and speak German fluently,
English and write in Romanian. They have an understood value system, they already have a set of rules for life, they want to learn more and
are looking forward to school.
