The KINDERLAND team, through the experience gained during almost 16 years of activity, is a team of professionals, which guarantees the educational act.
The teachers are native German speakers (UBB Cluj - Faculty of Letters) and qualified teacher-educators, teaching will be exclusively in German in the German section, and one of the chosen languages will be taught in the Romanian and Hungarian mother tongue (intensive). We will not focus on volume, but on differentiated, individual teaching. The small group and class sizes (10-12 children maximum) allow us to take care of each child individually, to follow their progress and to communicate it regularly to their parents.
We want to discover, to cultivate those aptitudes and inclinations of the child that make each one a UNIQUE CHILD.
KINDERLAND is a German school and day nursery, which means that the entire program is taught exclusively in the German mother tongue in the German section. Learning this language is the main focus of the unit.
We carry out our activity in an indoor space of 500 square meters and a courtyard of 500 square meters with lawn, trees, 2 inflatable swimming pools in summer and many accessories only good for playing, especially in the playground offered by the City Hall and the Cluj-Napoca City Council at the mushroom in Gheorgheni.
Optional - Clubs
Our school and kindergarten pay great attention to the intrinsic motivation of the children and for this reason we offer a wide range of optional activities, so that every child has the opportunity to participate in clubs that appeal to him and where he can develop his skills.
The topics covered in the optional clubs are chosen at the beginning of each school year and cover a wide range of information from different fields: art, communication, science, sport, health, music, dance, squares, etc. Activities are organized both in the classroom and in the gym or playground.
- Optional Club - Sport: Sport has a positive influence on children's physical and mental qualities. Through sport, children strengthen or develop their courage, willpower, physical strength and speed.
- Optional Karate Club teaches children to cooperate, defend themselves and respond promptly to undesirable events ....to know how to defend themselves if they need to... Children gain discipline, respect, self-control and pride in their own achievements.
- Optional Music Club helps children to better express their feelings and emotions by singing on musical instruments and practicing musical notes.This optional involves practicing German and English through songs. The attraction is the colorful musical instruments and the playful rhythm of songs specially designed for this club accompanied by percussion instruments.
- Art Option Club, as well as developing creativity and artistic expression, it reinforces children's moral values and even their math skills.
- Optional Dance Club: By practicing sports movements in a group, to music, children become more sensitive to music, rhythm and timing.
- Optional Foreign Languages Club offers children the joy of communicating in foreign languages such as English, German, other languages required by their parents...
- Optional Chess Club It teaches children to think analytically and synthetically, gets them accustomed to the decision-making process, skills that children can then transfer to real life.
- Piano Option Club helps preserve and develop children's natural creative abilities.
- Computer Option Club help train and develop new generations of IT specialists.
Word of the Management
The KINDERLAND alternative education system stimulates equality of opportunities for children, in order to add value to pre-school education. Each child working in his/her own style and at his/her own pace, through work on centers of interest, obliges the teacher to turn his/her attention to the personal development of the individual, to induce the child to communicate, to know and to know himself/herself, to optimize his/her relations with himself/herself and with others. In this way, relations between teachers and children, on the one hand, and between the children in the group or the whole kindergarten community, on the other, are democratized, the system becoming a springboard into a world of communication and adaptation, as required by the challenges of the 21st century.
Whoever enters a class at KINDERLAND feels that he has entered a young, cheerful and serene forest, where each child takes responsibility for his own actions and his own learning and leaves with the invigorating feeling of hope that the work and trust invested in these children are not in vain.
We do not claim that this system is "the best", but it is a welcome alternative at this time of the 21st century, when new and new professions are being "born" and are emerging, where individual personality and creativity must be promoted. The headmistress's 47 years of teaching experience is a further asset for our results (author of 6 school books)
KINDERLAND Nursery and Pre-school School aims to achieve both individual and group performance over the course of a 4-year education cycle, as socialization, communication and team spirit are just some of our goals.
For all who contribute to the education in this kindergarten, the following principle is sacred:"A child is a fire to be kindled, not a pot to be constantly poured into."
The kindergarten encourages reading and writing through special programs in each group. The large group has a special program in German, Romanian and English. At the end of kindergarten, the children know how to write the graphic signs that help to write letters, even letters. Some can read and speak German and English fluently and write in Romanian. They have an understood value system, they have already outlined a set of rules for life, they want to learn more and more, and are looking forward to school.

The villa being new, DOUBLED IN SPACE AFTER 10 YEARS.... we now have almost 18 YEARS of operation, is being arranged to become functional so from 2011/2012 we have: 6 group rooms, room for computer course, office, speech therapist office, methodical office, own kitchen, 6 bathrooms, dining room, cellar, pantry, sports hall, (chess, computer, music, shows,) MULTIFUNCTIONAL ROOM, service apartment with 2 rooms, etc., courtyard, playground.
